What We've Built

Real spaces, real challenges, real solutions. Here's a look at some of the work we're actually proud of - each one taught us something new.

Lakeview Glass Residence
Residential

Lakeview Glass Residence

Muskoka, ON

This one was tricky - clients wanted floor-to-ceiling glass but were worried about heating costs in winter. We figured out a solution using triple-pane thermal glass and strategic overhangs. Now they've got those lake views year-round without breaking the bank on energy bills.

Completed: September 2023

Size: 3,200 sq ft

Key Features:

  • Panoramic lake views through thermally-efficient glass walls
  • Cantilevered deck design
  • Geothermal heating system
  • Natural stone integration with local materials
Junction Brew Cafe
Commercial

Junction Brew Cafe

Toronto, ON

Had to work with a pretty awkward corner space here - narrow at one end, weird column placements. Turned those "problems" into features though. That column? It's now the centerpiece with custom lighting wrapped around it. Sometimes constraints are actually gifts.

Completed: March 2023

Size: 1,850 sq ft

Key Features:

  • Reclaimed wood from old Toronto factories
  • Custom-designed communal tables
  • Acoustic treatments for noise control
  • Green wall installation with herbs for the kitchen
Ossington Townhomes
Residential

Ossington Townhomes

Toronto, ON

Four units on a tight urban lot. The zoning bylaws were... let's just say "interesting" to navigate. But we managed to squeeze in private outdoor space for each unit and keep natural light flowing through. City living doesn't have to feel cramped if you plan it right.

Completed: November 2022

Size: 4 units, 1,400 sq ft each

Key Features:

  • Private rooftop terraces for each unit
  • Shared interior courtyard design
  • Energy Star certified construction
  • Bike storage integrated into ground floor
Innovation Hub Markham
Commercial

Innovation Hub Markham

Markham, ON

Tech startup space where flexibility was everything - they needed to reconfigure layouts as teams grew or pivoted. Designed it with moveable walls and modular furniture anchors. It's basically architectural Lego for adults, and it's working great for them.

Completed: June 2023

Size: 12,000 sq ft

Key Features:

  • Modular wall systems
  • Collaborative breakout zones
  • Smart HVAC with zone control
  • Rooftop solar array installation
Rosedale Heritage Renovation
Residential

Rosedale Heritage Renovation

Toronto, ON

Heritage home that needed major updates but couldn't touch the exterior facade - heritage committee wasn't having it. So we went inward, opened up the interior completely while keeping the old-world charm where it mattered. Best of both worlds, really.

Completed: January 2023

Size: 4,100 sq ft

Key Features:

  • Preserved original brickwork and moldings
  • Modern open-concept interior layout
  • Hidden modern systems integration
  • Custom millwork matching period details

More Projects Coming Soon

We've got a couple of exciting builds wrapping up this year - a sustainable community center in Hamilton and a custom lakefront property that's pushing some boundaries. Can't show 'em yet, but stay tuned. Worth the wait.

Our Approach to Every Project

Look, every project's different, but there's a method to how we work...

Discovery Phase

We actually listen. Sounds basic, but you'd be surprised. Tell us what you need, what bugs you about your current space, what you've always dreamed of.

Design Development

Sketches, models, renderings - whatever helps you see what we're thinking. And yeah, there'll be revisions. That's normal. Good design takes iteration.

Documentation

All the technical stuff - permits, drawings, specs. Not the fun part, but it's what keeps your project from turning into a nightmare during construction.

Construction Support

We don't just hand off drawings and disappear. Site visits, contractor coordination, problem-solving when something doesn't go to plan. We're in it with you.

Our Process

Why These Projects Work

Honestly? It's about understanding what you actually need versus what you think you want. Sometimes they're the same thing, sometimes they're not.

We've learned that the best projects happen when clients trust us enough to challenge their assumptions, and we respect them enough to explain why we're suggesting what we're suggesting. No jargon, no ego - just honest conversation about what'll work best for your space, budget, and lifestyle.

Every single project here taught us something new. That Muskoka house? We learned a new thermal modeling technique. The cafe? Figured out a better way to handle acoustics in open spaces. You keep learning or you get left behind in this field.
